New Routes & Crew Bases

Porter Airlines is adding three new Embraer E195-E2 crew bases across Canada for over 350 pilots and flight attendants at Ottawa International Airport (YOW), Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The announcement supports the airline's rapidly-expanding North American network.

This summer, Porter will operate 14 nonstop routes from Ottawa, six routes from Montreal, and three routes from Vancouver. These bases feed into Porter’s strong Eastern Canada network and its growing western markets.

From Montreal:

Porter Airlines is adding seasonal roundtrip flights on two new non-stop routes between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The new YUL-LAX route begins June 27, with four-times weekly service. YUL-SFO begins on June 28, with three-times weekly service. The program ends on October 26. The new routes provide another way to travel between Porter’s extensive Eastern Canada network and the U.S. west coast. 

From Ottawa:

Porter Airlines is bringing more of its elevated economy experience to Newfoundland travellers this summer. This includes launching the only non-stop Ottawa-St. John’s flight on the market, and the introduction of Deer Lake as a new destination, with service to Halifax. 

Daily roundtrip Ottawa and St. John’s flights start June 6. It’s the first time in five years that any Canadian carrier has served the route.   Ottawa offers passengers connecting flights from St. John’s to over a dozen destinations in Canada and the U.S. This includes Western Canada cities like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg, plus Orlando, Boston and New York.
